Today is a better day!

I don't have any new pictures to post. Unless, you all are interested in seeing kids, mommy, daddy, and granparents with some version of the stomach flu? Our house has been suffering with fever, vomiting, crankiness, poor appetites, and general malaise. I have never felt so sick in my life. I was so thankful to feel like eating a bite this morning. More thankful, the babies wanted to eat today. We did go to church and it felt great to get out of the house. I think the kids felt the same way. Anyways, we are hoping for healthier days! Oh, we did bring home the minivan....pics will follow soon!

Happy Birthday Kyle!

Happy Birthday Kyle! This is an old picture but I think it is adorable of Kyle with Asher. Kyle, we are so sorry to miss your birthday celebration but we love you!

Still sick

Asher ended up getting the stomach bug and I have been puked on 4 days in a row. Nana was blessed with some vomit today. Leila had a trip to the Dr. today and was diagnosed with an ear infection. She started antibiotics today! I think we are all officially exhausted and ready for healthier days.

Leila is sick again

Last night, after the game, we took the kids to eat at Noodles. Leila was in my lap and projectile vomitted all over both us. She was up all night long with fever and vomitting. The first pic she fell asleep b/c she was so exhausted. The second pic is her new baby legs. We LOVE them and can't wait to get some more. We hope Leila starts feeling better soon. Also, we did decide on a Honda Odyssey and can pick it up later in the week. I loved the way it drove and it is very practical. Plus, it doesn't matter what I drive, I will never be cool with snot all over my shirt (like yesterday) and smelling like vomit (like yesterday and today). I am thankful that God has blessed me with babies that make me need a van!

The Razorback Baseball game

We took the kids to the Razorback baseball game yesterday. Both kids had a great time. It was a great way to enjoy the beautiful day.

Minivan world

Well, they totaled my little Camry. I am thankful and kind of sad. It has been a wonderful car. I am considering another Camry as it's replacement but know that a minivan is more practical. It is hard to enter the minivan world. Oh well, you will have to stay tuned to see what happens!

The damage from the hail storm

Well, we were driving as the tornado sirens were sounding, but we made it into the house before the hail storm. Praise God for our safety! Both cars were beat up and our house has gutter and roof damage. We didn't have any broken windows at the house. It was pretty scary. Asher woke up the next morning and looked at my car and said, "The thunder broke my mommy's car!". He wanted to fix it. I think it is going to need more help than he can give!

Our little cupie doll

Her big blue eyes and pouty, little mouth remind her Gigi of a cupie doll. What do you think?

Please pray for Leila

I know that I am probably worried for nothing, but I want to ask all of you to pray for Leila. Ms. Kary from the parents as teachers program came this morning. Asher did his 2 year screening and did well. Kary seemed concerned that Leila isn't babbling at all yet. We know that her vocal cords are fine! We feel like she is resposive and alert. I was worried, so I called the pediatrician's office and they scheduled her for a hearing test in May. I know that God is in control and will take care of our precious baby girl, but it is so hard not to be concerned. Please pray that Leila will start to babble soon. Please pray that she is a perfectly healthy girl that is just a little delayed with her speech.

Growing up

Well, both of my babies are growing up too fast. Leila is crawling everywhere and starting to pull up on things. Asher has decided to abandon his high chair and will only sit in the big chair. It is happening right before our eyes...I just hope we are enjoying all of this enough.
