And she keeps on growing!!!! This is so fun!! On a different note, it's hot and humid here and Asher had his last tball game tonight!!! Yay for perfect timing! He ended the year with a great game....caught some grounders, tagged a boy out, and scored a run!

Memorial Day

I am so thankful for the brave men and women who serve in our military to defend our freedom. My Papa was one of those men. My Uncle was one of those men. My Dad is one of those men. I love living in America, land of the free! Here's to remembering their service and sacrifice.

We, as a family, made this flag for my Nana's birthday. We are in the process of making us one like it. So happy with the way it turned out!

Mom and Dad had us over for burgers and swimming. She got this cute cake to celebrate!

The Naturals

A perfect trip? Not hardly!! Was it easy with all 4 kids at a ballgame for 4 hours? Yeah, right! Am I still so happy that this was what we chose to do as a family tonight? You better believe it! What a great night!! I love my family and am thankful for each day that we share!

Getting crafty

Leila and I had a fun afternoon completing this craft to commemorate the year that she becomes a ballerina! Looking forward to the dance recital Saturday night!

11 months

11 months.... Cal is such a happy, laid back guy. He's so big and strong too. He loves to pull up and cruise around. He crawls everywhere, and he is starting to stand alone. He loves to eat and says "Mmmm" when it's especially good. He wears 18mth clothes and sz. 4 diapers. Cal loves to play the "uh-oh" game and drop things or knock things over.....over and over. He still mainly says "momma". He gives High Five and waves bye-bye. He loves to make motorboat noises. He is Mr. Social! He's a busy, fearless, happy boy! I love how he is so expressive with his eyebrows! We love you Cal! Caroline is a lively, sweet girl. She is our loudest baby yet! She loves to mimic noises, scream, and try new words. She says "Momma" "Dada" "Bubba" "Guck" "Good girl" the most. She's practicing lots of others too. She still squeals and flaps her arms up and down when excited. She pulls up, cruises around, and crawls everywhere. She sucks her thumb. She loves to eat too. She wears 12mth. clothing and sz 4 diapers. She will give High Five and wave Bye-Bye. She loves to click her tongue. Caroline is a little clingy to momma around people she doesn't see often. She's a spunky, expressive, sweet girl! I love how she crinkles her nose when she laughs! We love you Caroline! They both attack each other and adore their big brother and sister. They started wearing shoes for the first time this week. They are great car riders and great sleepers. They sleep 9pm-7:30am. They do still sleep together in the crib. Caroline falls asleep in her swing first. They have outgrown all bouncy seats and all but the big swing. They truly are the easiest babies we have had to take anywhere, except that there are 2 of them. They love to be out and about. They never cry or fuss. They are such happy babies! It's a true blessing having twins! I'm so thankful! I can't believe the countdown is on the big red, white, and blue 1st birthday celebration!

I have waited many afternoons at this gate, waiting for my sweet boy to come from the playground, grab his backpack, and walk to my car with his teacher. It was really hard to do it one last time today. There were tears in all of our eyes. What a blessing this year has been for us! I'm so thankful for the afternoons that we were allowed together because of Hobson half day Kindergarten.

Kindergarten graduate

They entertained us with a pretty cute dance and some funny little songs, then he walked across the stage to graduate from Kindergarten! His next graduation will come all too soon. Asher, I'm so proud for you. You have learned so much and gained some very sweet friends. I'm going to be so sad the last day I pick you up and watch your classmates hug you and give you five multiple times (such a sweet routine that happens EVERY day) before I put you in the car. You have brought home a happy face each day this year on your behavior sheet.....you give us lots of happy faces too! This year has been such a blessing for all of us! Thank you Lord for Hobson Kindergarten and for Asher!
