I Love Tyler!

Tonight, I found a letter in my Bible dated 8-1-1996. In the letter, I prayed that God would bless my relationship with a boy named Tyler. I just knew I'd found true, lasting love. Thankfully, God listens to the prayers of a 15 year old girl and thank God for sending me Tyler.

Getting ready for Christmas

We have been decorating for Christmas this weekend and I had to show off my new sign! I am so excited to have it in addition to our other Christmas decorations. Also, had to post a pic of the platter the kids painted with my help last weekend. I am soooo proud of it!

My Best Friend

"Momma, this is my best friend!", Asher proclaimed as he held Leila in a hug. These are the best times!

Bits & pieces of our everyday life

From playing in our little house to playing with each other, giving evil eye faces, or riding our make believe horses, we find tons of ways to have fun!

A Very Fun Weekend!

We have had a very fun weekend! It started with Christmas pics at Jody's. Asher was so happy and very cooperative....Leila was not! She looked at Jody like, who are you and why are you taking my picture. However, both kids gave hugs for the cookie! Then, Asher requested a trip to Toys-R-Us. I thought what the heck...so off we went. Asher loves Thomas the Train, dinosaurs, and Diego. It was fun to see his excitement. Then, Ty left for his hunting trip and we went to spend the night with Nanny and Papa. They treated us to dinner, a trip to Chuck-E-Cheese, and a little mommy shopping time. Thanks Nanny and Papa! Today, the kids, Nanny, Nana, and I headed up to Fayetteville. We made Christmas presents (I'll post pics later!) and had a fun trip to the mall. Asher ate an entire bag of gummy bears in about 3 minutes, picked out a new train for his Thomas set, and rode a couple of little car rides. Sorry, no pics, Tyler took the camera with him. Thanks, everyone, for a great weekend!

Palestine

We made a trip to Palestine to see Ma-ma Saturday. The kids had a wonderful visit and even did great in church. I was so proud b/c it is a very small church and very calm! The cotton has been harvested but a little was left on the plant. Asher was excited to pick some for Leila. She loved playing with it. I enjoyed hearing him call it "cotnon". Anyways, we had a great trip and are glad we will see Ma-ma again soon!

Winnie the Pooh Live

What a great show! A little to long for our young ones (we missed the last half) but would be wonderful in a year or so.

Sick!

Our little man has been sick since Thursday. He told me he felt like going to see Winnie the Pooh in Little Rock and felt good until Saturday night. I think we over did it Friday and Saturday afternoon. Today, he woke up and said his sick was gone. We will still make a trip to the Dr's office tomorrow to get a check up.

Rich!

The sermon today was on being rich. We are rich because God has blessed us with more than we need. Amen.

Appletown

We took the kids to Lincoln to the apple stand. It is a beautiful drive on Hwy 59. The trees were amazing and Asher liked naming the colors. We loaded up on cider, jellies, and molasses! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed beautiful Arkansas!
