The other day I noticed as I put on my makeup that I am getting more and more lines around my eyes. Tyler is constantly complaining about his grey hairs or lack of. It has been harder to lose weight after Leila was born than it was after Asher. We went to a wedding shower for a college age friend and I didn't worry once about not wearing clothing as in fashion as theirs. Needless to say, we're getting older. Tyler will celebrate his 30th birthday next month and growing up is sometimes hard to do. So, here are a few reasons why:
-Worry for your children....Leila has had 3 doctor's appt's this past week. I worried about what each would say. So, thank the Lord, Leila's mole is just a mole and the Dermatologist only wants to monitor it's growth. But, we will be getting eye glasses. For Leila and for me, but mine are just for reading. Poor Leila will have to wear them all day long and poor us will have to make her.
-It's hard to say goodbye...we said goodbye to our friends as they move on to another chapter of their lives in a town 4 hours away. Asher and Leila adore their children and we adore all of them. It's hard to see your husband lose two dear friends to moves last year and find another, only to lose him to a move this year. I moved away from my best friends when we moved here and I can tell you that I miss them everyday!
-Worry for your friends....(you know which one of you I am talking about) I am praying for you so much and holding you close to my heart right now
So, like I say sometimes growing up is hard to do, but those grey hairs and lines around our eyes are due to caring and loving which a great part of life. Here are some fun things that have been going on with us:
-We picked out our paint colors for the house......FINALLY!
-We got a new dining room table.....it was the table I dreamed of having someday....and we got it for 1/5 of the price it's listed for......I was so excited
-We attended Disney live, which was a blast
-God has blessed us and continues to do so with wonderful family and friends and coworkers!
So, growing up isn't as bad as it seems.

My favorite kind of day!
I have taken a break from blogging and web surfing to enjoy my life. I have decided to stop jumping on the internet every free second I have. So, Saturday, we enjoyed the best kind of morning! We played, ate, danced, read, and played some more. It was so fun! I enjoyed every single moment. The kids have so much fun together and they are pretty funny too. Leila loved wearing her Dorothy shoes around and they had to help each other out of the window. Today, Asher and I went shopping while Daddy and Leila took a nap. It was fun to have one on one time with him. However, we are a dangerous pair shopping together. We both find sooo many things that someone in our family would enjoy.....atleast we're thoughtful! Ha! I've decorated the house for fall a little and enjoyed the fam for the rest of today. It's been great!

Birthday Celebration
We celebrated my 29th birthday tonight b/c tomorrow is too busy! I am saving my cards for tomorrow though! They are my favorite gifts! Anyways, everyone cooked one of my favorite dishes and Asher helped make my birthday cake. He was so proud. It was wonderful and when I told him how much I liked it, he replied, "You're welcome, darlin'....I just love you so much." Man, I'm telling you, the boy knows how to melt his momma's heart! Later, he called me his angel. I'm feeling so loved on the day before my birthday! Can't wait until tomorrow!
