Tree Farm
A funny story about this next picture…Caroline LOVES pigs (aka wa-winks) and was the most excited about seeing the pigs at the tree farm. The man in the santa hat works with Tyler. He was very kind to the kids today and did his best to make sure that they enjoyed their time at his tree farm. He was getting prepared to let the pigs race in the picture below. Caroline glanced up and gasped loudly when she saw him. She ran over to Tyler and whispered, "Daddy, It's Santa Claus! Santa Claus takes care of wa-winks!". It was so stinkin' cute!
A little unsure about why Santa is here. ;)
I love this picture for so many reasons! A father's love, a boy's outstretched arms, a farm, a tractor…I could go on and on!
Cal tormented these poor roosters or chickens.
Our pick. A cypress. We found out a short time later that Tyler is allergic to cypress trees. Christmas trees have been a disaster in our household this year! More on this later…
A tree just their size…
An absolutely gorgeous day!

Thanksgiving 2014
The night before Thanksgiving we have appetizer food (Dip, shrimp, and onion soup) because I'm busy cooking in the kitchen. This year, Leila and Tyler helped by making pumpkin crunch for Asher. Caroline told us while we were putting her to bed that she knows what love is…it's when you go for a walk in the forest and you fall in love. Too many princess movies! Oh so adorable though.
Thanksgiving morning was delightful. More cooking, Thanksgiving Day parade, and playtime with Marley.
Dinner time. Asher blessed our food for us this year. Melt. my. heart! The food was delicious and the love was plentiful. The big kids didn't get to play football outside, instead they tackled each other in the house. Fun times! So much to be thankful for. We missed baby Audrey, but I was able to steal some kisses and cuddle time the night before. Love that sweet girl.
We were able to visit with Tyler's family mid afternoon. The kids had a wonderful time playing with their cousins. The 4 and under crowd found some fall fun in the leaves. While Cal enjoyed picking them up and putting them into the trashcan, the girls had some good old fashioned fun. Lots of cute little squeals from those two. They yelled "Happy Birthday" as they would toss handfuls of leaves into the air. Tyler had a wonderful time enjoying "manly" Thanksgiving things. ;) I got to talk about "girl stuff" like shopping, traveling, and babies. I'm looking forward to sharing next Thanksgiving day with baby Bryant. Again, many things to celebrate with thanksgiving.
Turkey coma! The twins passed out at 6:30 pm and slept until 8:00am this morning! They were tuckered out. ;)
So incredibly grateful for the abundance of blessings in my life. Thanksgiving Day 2014 was pretty much a perfect day!
