Happy Halloween
This Halloween the wind was whipping and the leaves were swirling through the air. The air was crisp and cool. The leaves were beautiful in color and the tree covered mountains in the distance were spotted with reds, golds, and oranges. It was a gorgeous, picturesque autumn evening. A perfect night for chili and trick or treating! We were blessed to be loved on and "treated" by many this happy halloween! We were thankful to be sharing the festivities with our "almost cousin!" and some sweet friends too! I love hearing the kids counting the hours in anticipation of donning their costume picks for the year. I love watching them joyously run from lighted door to door! I love the sound of laughter and chattering that fills the air. My most favorite memory of tonight will be when Cal was working very hard to empty the bowl of snickers candy bars at Gigi's house into his candy bag. One handful at a time. Then, two handfuls at a time. Then, he ran and hid the bowls to make certain that the snickers weren't returned to the original bowl. ;) Today was (most certainly!!!) a wonderful end to October! I will miss you, October, until next year!

A small group fall party
Our food/treat contributions for the party…
Our game. I loved this game when I was younger and remember how gross it seemed to reach in and touch eyeballs and guts! ;)
The party…
Love these kids and their parents! Love that they have grown up together!
