May wrap up

Memorial day weekend was GREAT! We had a fun outing with our munchkins to the Cracker Barrel. We ran into some of Tyler's extended family from east Arkansas too. Arkansas really is such a small place!

The kids stayed with Nanny and Nana. Tyler and I got a MUCH needed date night (which included a graduation party for our ring bearer. Yikes! We're getting old!) that ended the next morning at Waffle House. Thanks to the g-ma's for helping a momma out! Ha!

Sunday, we went to a cookout with some of my parent's friends. It was a great time for all. Water balloon fights for the kids….and...the adults joined in on the fun too. I think I have the most fun parents ever!

Memorial day morning we went to watch the parade with some friends…

Our dentist brought Nacho, the horse, over for the kids to see. Pretty cool.

Then, it was rodeo time! Everyone was very excited. Caroline announced that she was a "real cowgirl" and was going to ride a horse. She even made the promise to NEVER take her pink boots off! Yee Haw!

Caroline and Asher LOVE the rodeo! Caroline was very excited by the calf roping..she would jump up and down and cheer if they were successful. Asher likes the bronc and bull riding…we had to get a closer view of the action towards the end of the show. No, he didn't mind all the dirt that he ate in gaining a closer view. Cal found a popcorn buddy (his dentist) with the closer view, so he was ok too. Caroline just decided to eat the straw from her hat. Yes, her hat! Crazy kids!

Then, we left. Our little cowgirl holding her favorite cowboy's hand. Melt. my. heart!

I found two runaways this week and had to give these familiar faces a ride back home. Nice to see you, Minnie and Pippa!

Since the rodeo is one of our favorite annual events, we went for round 2! The kids were thrilled and we took Liv along for ride!
