Happy Halloween! We had a ninja turtle and a pinkalicious pig at our house. Leila was just cheering on those Hogs with her Halloween costume! Asher requested a bat pumpkin and Leila requested Minnie. When she saw Minnie, she started to sing Happy Birthday to herself since her birthday party was Minnie also. Ha! Mom and Dad took them trick or treating with us and they got lots of candy! Halloween was tons of fun again this year and we thank all of our family for the special goodie bags for A and L.

My kind of Monday
This is the first Monday since we moved into this home that we have had a day like this.....a day like we used to have. A day where we do absolutely nothing. We went outside into the beautiful weather and enjoyed playing with each other. Now, the babies are sleeping and I'm watching a dvr'd tv show while I post on the blog and fold clothes. It is so good! Dinner is in the oven and we are enjoying simplicity. God is soooo good.

Surprise Tyler....It's an 80s skating party for your birthday
We celebrated Tyler's 30th birthday with an 80s party at the skating rink. It was so much fun! The cake was awesome (sorry the picture is turned wrong) and the outfits were better. Yes, I crimped my hair! Most of all, we just want to say thank you to all of our awesome family and friends who came to celebrate with us. Lots of you drove for miles, with no sleep, and brought friends from out of town.....but, you still came! Thank you so much! Also, the presents were unexpected and thoughtful. The S family surprised Tyler with a banjo.....needless to say, he was thrilled. It'll be noisy at our house! It was Asher's first time to skate.....we'll have to keep practicing but he liked it. Love you all. I love you Tyler....Happy Birthday tomorrow.
