Halloween Weekend.....Fun, Fun, Fun!
I saw the cutest idea for putting babies in a pumpkin (I know that I'm crazy!!) for photo ops. Let's just say it was a major bust. Caroline wasn't sure what she thought about it...
Then, she decided that she HATED it!
Cal wasn't up for being stuffed in a pumpkin at all!
He was much happier in the warm house! ;)
So, Leila and Tyler decided to carve a pumpkin instead...
Then, we went trick or treating on main street. Thanks Gigi and Pop for keeping the twins!
Our main street has the oldest functioning court house west of the Mississippi.
Beautiful Rapunzel
Brave ninja
This morning, Nana brought over Halloween treats and kept the twins so we could go to church.
Thanks Nana!
Then, we made a graveyard dessert for our small group Halloween party.
And finger spinach dip (which I may or may not be enjoying right now)
The cute spread of snack food. Maggie did such a great job decorating and planning the party. It was a blast! Thanks Nanny and Papa for keeping the twins so we could enjoy our night with our small group and kiddos!

Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park
Wow, it is hard to explain to a 5 year old about the civil war. His question, "Why did America fight America?". We explained what we could and explored around. Then, we retreated to Van Buren, just like they did that December night so many years ago. However, we left feeling happy and blessed.....thankfully! ;)
Fun Friday
A little stop by apple town in Lincoln on our fall foliage drive. The twins hated the cold wind. Asher and Leila were holding hands for the picture....I had to sneak a pic! ;)

Football
Last week, the kids and I went outside to make a craft. The boys from across the road were playing football. They invited Asher to come and join them.....IT MADE HIS DAY! He ran back across the road when he was finished and said, "Momma, Caleb introduced me as one of his best friends!". Caleb is a middle schooler. Thank you Caleb, you just made Asher's entire year! ;) So thankful for positive influences in his life and neighbor boys that build him up.
