We got our Baptism/Dedication outfits in the mail this past weekend....I love babies in white! A great reminder that they are still so fresh from Heaven!

Daddy love

I'll let these sweet photos tell the story....

This is the sweet face that he gets when Daddy gives him little kisses all over his face! (Melts my heart!)

8 months!!!

Can you believe that we are 8 months old already?

Yes, he is usually attacking her in some shape or form!

She's gonna fight back
Look at little miss sitting up
Our frog photos have turned into this....poor frog!
"What?! I didn't do anything?!".
I caught Cal rocking on all 4s....things are about to get interesting around here!

Yes, that is Cal's foot in her face.

Cal started getting really sleepy....
until Copper walked by....

Poor Copper!

I have a feeling that things are about to change. The babies are super interested in things going on around them. They are really wanting to move around. It's been lots of giggles and smiles around here lately and we have been loving it!

Caroline is wearing sz. 9-12 month clothing, size 3-4 diapers, she is taking 6 oz. bottles and LOVES to eat. It is really a joy feeding her. She is such a daddy's girl and loves to interact with him. She loves to growl. She gets so tickled when you get her neck. She is enjoying sitting up on her own and loves to rock/dance while sitting. She is so much fun to be around and loves attention. She is starting to fake cry when we walk out of the room. It's pretty cute! She still loves her swing and bouncy seat. She is still a great sleeper. The poor little thing had a rough week, but we are so glad that she is home. She came home on 7 meds and different formula. She will have a followup appt. at the pulmonologist's office at the end of the month. We are hoping for a great report! Caroline loves attention from Asher...she squealed when she saw him after her hospital stay. I think they will be great buds. I still can't believe we were blessed with another baby girl....we love her so much!

Cal is wearing sz. 12 month clothing, size 3-4 diapers, he is taking 6 oz. bottles and LOVES to eat. It is a joy to feed him too. He is a momma's boy and loves to interact with me. He is starting to try to make talking noises. I'm hoping we hear a "momma" soon. He isn't sitting up as well as sis but loves to roll and army crawl around. He is VERY close to actually crawling. I think he is going to be quite the bruiser so I'm a little nervous about him becoming mobile! Ha!
Cal loves to attack Caroline....poor little girl....atleast she will be tough! He is the most loving little thing too. He gives the sweetest kisses and he LOVES to have his face kissed. It puts him in a trance like state. ;) He gets so tickled when you get his belly. Cal loves to interact with Leila. I think he loves how silly/loud she is! Cal is growing out of the swing/bouncy seat phase because he can flip out of them now. He loves his jumper and we have to put him to sleep on his tummy in his crib. Both babies are still sleeping great! I could tell Cal missed Caroline while she was gone. I'm so glad that they are back together again. Once again, I love him so much and am so thankful that God blessed us with another baby boy!

Admitted

Caroline was admitted to the hospital Monday morning after battling sickness for a week and not being able to keep her oxygen levels out of the 80 range. She was diagnosed with rsv, asthma induced by rsv, and pneumonia. She has been such a sweet, sick baby girl but we are so happy to report that she is back home tonight!!!!! Thanks for all of your prayers! I realize that many people weren't aware she was sick.....there is still a certain amount of privacy I desire for my children in this world of Facebook, Twitter, and blogging. I feel more comfortable sharing now that she is home and well! Once again, this was an event that proves that we need a village to raise our children. Thank you to our wonderful family.....we couldn't have made it without you! Most importantly, praising God for his healing touch and goodness!

Do you want a kiss?

Thanks Gigi and Pop for the fun suckers!!!

They had $25 worth of fun with these balloons tonight from Tyler and me. They were snooping and found them and I'm so glad we let them have them early.

These are heart shaped donuts for Asher's teachers. Thanks for the idea Sarah!

Nanny and Papa brought a yummy cookie cake for their little love birds! Isn't it so cute?!

The kids and I did a little fun heart day baking!

I guess the cold weather has made us feel all warm and loving inside because once again our children were spoiled by grandparents for Valentine's Day. They received a Valentine in the mail from Nana complete with a singing card and a little $! Then, sweets, sweets, and more sweets from Nanny, Papa, Gigi, and Pop! Thank you for loving us so completely! We sure do love you too! And to my Valentine, thank you for the sweet, thoughtful basket of goodies delivered to work today. I love you so much!

Tooth fairy time!!!

Let's hope the tooth fairy can fly in the snow!!! Asher let me pull his tooth tonight. I was proud of both of us.....especially him! He didn't shed a single tear or complain at all. I didn't get sick to my stomach....I hate pulling teeth. Leila was such a great sister and held his hand, until she ran and hid behind the door. Then, she was convinced that they would both get rewards from our tooth fairy! I'm slightly sad that my baby is old enough to shed his first tooth. He is so excited and sleeping with his little tooth under his pillow. I posted a picture of their snowman too. Aren't snow days great?!

First Snow

I am so thankful that I made it back from my girl's trip to Tulsa to see the twin's first snow experience. They just loved touching it! Also, my wonderful husband kept our sweet babies while I was gone, built a snowman with A & L, and managed to shovel the snow covered driveway! He's awesome!

My sweet loves!

Valentine's Day is drawing near and I sure am thankful that these 4 little lovelies are mine!

We had a great weekend together. We did a small remodel on our bathroom/bedroom and I am so happy the way it turned out! Tyler and I had a dinner date Friday night. Saturday morning, we went to a fun birthday party at the jump house. Cal and Caroline were super excited....I think they were excited to watch all the kids running around. Saturday night, Tyler and I had a dinner date with some wonderful, fun friends, and it has been too long since we've seen them, so it was great to catch up. Sunday afternoon, we went to our small group Super Bowl party and the Giants won!! The food was excellent and the fellowship was even better! So besides those things, here are a few more things that have been going on. Asher is all about math. He works problems all day long. He is still loving school and is such a fine big brother. Leila is such a sweet girl and so funny too. Yesterday she bumped her head and when I asked where she hit it, she responded, "where Caroline is bald". Ha! The twins are loving their baby food. They especially like squash, sweet peas, apples, and pears. Caroline cries because we can't get it in her mouth fast enough and Cal sucks it off the spoon like he is taking his bottle. Speaking of his bottle, he LOVE it and cries whenever he sees one.....doesn't matter how close to actual feeding time we are! Cal has both mandibular central incisors. He almost has his left maxillary central incisor. Caroline has cut her right mandibular central incisor and almost her left one. They got the opposite tooth first! Later this afternoon, I am going for mom/daughter day at dance....should be fun! ;)
