Beach family pictures

6 years ago, we had family photos made on the beach. With our siblings and parents. Wearing all white. They are pictures that I treasure. We used Gwynemark photography and were happy with their service and the product. So….it was an easy decision picking who we would ask to photograph our now family of 6 while we vacationed in Seaside. When I received the photos this time, I was blown away! Our session was easy and fun. It was relaxed. Mark did great with the kids. I didn't dream that I would love every picture. I did though! I'm dying from the cuteness! So, so happy that we decided to make this investment into documenting this time with our sweet kiddos as they played in the sun and sand!
Our cheesy prom style picture. Love our dorky love!
Here's a sneak peak at our Christmas pictures….Can't wait to share! They are so stinking cute!

Leila's Mermaid Party

Leila decided to celebrate her 7th birthday with a mermaid party with a few friends at the Lake Fort Smith pool. We had a wonderful time! A few notes…Leila made the mermaids that are in the candy dishes at Nana's house this summer. A great craft to help with her party decorations. Thanks to Nanny for making our chicken salad for the crabwiches! It was excellent! We found the cute sea themed Little Debbies while we were on our vacation in Florida. My temporary tattoos were a joke for Maggie. I love my girl friends! Asher and Cal hated the tattoos and demanded that I wash them off! Tyler was challenged by John to do the ALS ice bucket challenge and accepted. He was doused with the ice water from the ice chest by John and Mike after the party. The kids were delighted to watch! We have fun friends! Thanks to everyone that came to celebrate with her!
I love that my 7 year old Leila still loves her stuffed animals and putting them to bed, in a serving bowl! Love that quirky girl! Also, I have to brag on Cal and Caroline for their help in preparing for both of Leila's parties. They were lots of help. Thanks to Nana for keeping my two big helpers while I picked up a few last minute things for her party on Friday! You're a lifesaver!
