It's Captain Hook and Tinker Bell! We went trick or treating at Nana and Papa's today. They needed a treat after their flu shots! Anyways, always lots of goodies and fun to be had. I spent many a Halloween trick or treating at their front door.

Hog Wild
We ran up to the Red/White game tonight and the kids really enjoyed it. Asher had to take his Hog hat and both kids were excited for the sticker tattoos. I had some luck shopping for Christmas presents at Hog Heaven, but I thought Ty was going to lose it when they wouldn't open the doors (they had closed a second before we ran back.....a second!) to let us exchange a size. It's funny to see his temper sometimes....he's always so calm!

Fall Festival
Mom and I took the kids to the fall festival today. It is held in downtown Van Buren and there really isn't much to it. The weather was nice and the kids had fun petting a few animals. It brings back memories for me. When I was younger, I set up a table at the festival and sold bracelets that I made. It cracks me up that I did it! Mom and Dad were awesome and so supportive. Tyler was super proud of my craftiness and upset people didn't buy more! I love my supportive husband and parents. I hope lemonade stands and fall festival tables are in our future....it sure boosts your confidence to know your fam is cheering you on.

Pumpkin Patch
I took Asher and Leila to the fall pumpkin festival at a local nursery today. It is one big task trying to get their attention and take a picture! Thankfully, some sweet ladies stopped to help. They had a singing duo and when they started to sing Dolly, Leila started dancing! I was so proud of my girl. She knows good music when she hears it. The kids even got to pet ponies. Afterwards, we met Nanny and Nana for lunch (and fun) at Marketplace. It was nice to have dinner together on a Saturday like the old days! Then, we went for a crazy shopping experience at the new Target. The kids love the expansive toy aisles and we had fun getting Christmas ideas. It was a wonderful Saturday!

Haley's 21st Birthday Celebration
We celebrated Haley's 21st Birthday tonight. Asher wanted to help do EVERYTHING! Thanks for being a good sport Haley! He helped blow out the candles, sampled the cake, and opened presents. Leila was showing off (as usual) and wanted everyone to know how busy she keeps mommy. She didn't leave without leaving a battle wound on someone.....the recipient?....Mr. Tommy. Sorry....she is serious when she pinches! Anyways, atleast she left the birthday girl unharmed. (Smile)
