Caroline's first stitch

Sweet Caroline fell off my bed the other night and bit into her lower lip. Of course, it was when Tyler wasn't home and I'm a shaky mess when these things happen. ;) Thankfully, my mom was close and ran over to put the other kids to bed so I could take her to get her first stitch. She was very nervous on the ride over because Cal had warned her that she would be getting stitches. Brothers! She sat on my lap while she was numbed and stitched. She was so brave and strong. She didn't cry a single tear. She was the happiest little patient, quite the chatterbox. On the way out the door, she said, "that was sooo much fun!". I'm a little worried about that girl. I wish that I had a picture of her stitch but she got it out before bed that night. She was ready to go back the next day to get another one. Crazy child! The bruising is pretty significant and I'm praying that it doesn't cause any damage to her teeth. These twins keep me busy!

Being a mother to Asher, Leila, Cal, and Caroline reminds me of all the best things in life. I'm tremendously grateful that God chose me to be their momma! I love you my sweet, sweet babies!
