Yesterday, we went to Fayetteville for a little shopping and dinner at Noodles. We were celebrating my 28th birthday a little early b/c I work on my actual birthday(Tuesday). Then, we came back to the house for cake (a yummy ding dong cake that Gina made me) and presents! While in Fayetteville, Asher latched onto this Hog hat and loves it! My fav present....a quilt that mom had my aunt make for me. It is made from my old high school and college t-shirts. I love it! Thanks to everyone for traveling up the hill to celebrate with me, cooking for me, and buying me lots of wonderful presents that I love. I love birthdays!

Funny Asher
Asher is quite the little comedian. He disciplines his bear quite often and he always end with "You are not a bad bear, you just made a bad choice." It's hilarious! Today, he told his Gigi that he wanted to go swimming and she told him that he didn't have any swimming shorts. His reply, "But I have a hiney". He is constantly bossing other little kids and saying silly phrases like "That just cracks me up". That is what he told his nanny about Sesame Street Live. Tonight, Leila started crying and he ran over to her and sung Rock-a-Bye Baby in her face. It is soooo funny to see what he thinks of. Of course, we just can't resist him...we think he's adorable!

Leila's First Birthday
It was comforting to see my little 1 year old girl still sleeping in a baby position. She had a fun day with Nana and Papa for her first birthday. She was greeted with lots and lots of balloons. When Ty and I got off work, we had Nanny, Papa Jean, Gigi, and Pop over for pizza and cupcakes. Leila is walking more and more but still moves about turtle speed. She loved digging her hands into the cupcake but gagged and vomitted when I put the icing in her mouth. Asher wouldn't touch the cake on his 1st but loved to sample the treat with a fork. My babies are soooo different! She like her little phone and I suspected that she would. We got her an anniversary cabbage patch doll that is almost exactly the same as my first cabbage patch. Goodness, I feel old!

Leila is Walking!
More Florida Pics
I know, I know, we have put tons of pics from Florida. We had a wonderful time! We let Asher play putt-putt one more time for going potty. I'm so excited to be buying only 1 pack of diapers now. The kids slept about 75% of the way home...I guess vacation wore them out. We stopped in Palestine to see Ma-maw and the kids enjoyed their visit. She even made us some great fried pies! Well, we are already ready for next years vacation. However, the kids have been excited to be home with all of their toys. I think they missed them.

Florida: Part 2
Well, after staying up for two hours and getting nothing done, here are a few pics of the last 2 days. Asher slept through his first visit to Hard Rock. He continues to ask to play golf again! He is becoming quite bossy too. The weather has been volatile and today was a no swimming allowed day. The tide looked like the Atlantic Ocean! Tonight, we went for a night walk on the beach and there were tons of jelly fish washed ashore. Asher thought it was awesome. There has been many funny things said and we have had lots of fun....we will share those stories when we get home. This has to be the longest post ever of pics! Speaking of, we had our pictures taken at the beach and hope those will turn out well. Also, the newest pics are at the top of the post and the oldest at the bottom. Karen, I think you jinxed me with the slide show working b/c you said you don't like them! (smile) The pics of Asher running around the beach are him chasing pigeons. He was trying to bite them...atleast that is what he said. He has been disciplining his new bear and putting him in time out (I don't know?) for growling at people. He tells him that he didn't follow the rules and made a bad choice. Then, he gets him from time out and tells us that bear is going to listen and be a good bear. It is pretty funny! Anyways, I am tired and am ready to sleep. Nana and Papa, I hope you enjoy the pics...we sure miss everyone and love you too!
