Easter 2013

Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here, He has risen! Luke 24:5-6 Church was great! The processional, dancing, and music was beautiful! The twins spent about 15 minutes in the nursery, without crying! We tried to take some pictures but the sanctuary was pretty crowded. The entrance hall isn't a pretty backdrop but here are the pictures. Cal and Caroline did some pretty cute loving for a few pictures too. I do have to say that Leila picked her's and Caroline's easter dresses. I wasn't in love with them at first, but I think they worked out wonderfully. Good job, Leila! Asher was pretty fond of his matching dinosaur tie too. I love my sweet babies in their easter dress! Before church this morning, there were a few surprises from the easter bunny. He even hid some eggs for an easter scavenger hunt for Asher and Leila....a pretty exciting way to start the morning! Happy Easter for the Wood family!

Birthday celebrating

It's been a busy weekend around here. Easter celebrating and two birthdays to celebrate. We celebrated Gigi's birthday on Saturday night. Happy Birthday, Gigi! We love you!

Saturday Easter Celebration

We had a little early easter celebration with Nanny and Nana on Saturday. The kids and I made resurrection rolls (awesome!) and a bunny cake before everyone arrived. Tyler got up early and went to run a local 5k....bronze medal....not bad! ;) Nanny and Nana brought some fun easter baskets to open and we had a yummy lunch. My mom made these adorable (and delicious) deviled eggs. Caroline had a blast and made quite the mess feeding herself. Before they left, we talked them into some egg dying fun! I'm so incredibly thankful to have these two women in my life! God has blessed me so much by giving me this mom and this nana. I love them so much! Thanks for a fun afternoon!

Preschool egg hunting

Leila had a great day Wednesday. Her preschool had an easter egg hunt and class party. Leila loves her friends at preschool and Mrs. Becky! That night, Daddy surprised her with flowers! It truly made her day!

Passover Seder

We ended Asher's birthday celebrating Good Friday at a traditional passover seder. The banners were breathtaking! The kids had lots of fun, and the music and dancing was exceptional too. It was a great ending to a great day! "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son." - John 3:16

Seven

Asher had a fantastic birthday! Seven is going to be a great age! Thanks for everyone that celebrated with him and called to wish him Happy Birthday!
