I sure can! This has turned out to be a very full, very love-filled Valentine's Day. I have felt absolutely special. I hope my sweethearts have too. I know the twins really liked their balloons. Cal gave a smile (one of his only for the day) when he received his. Bless Nana's heart, she had to keep the fussy little guy while I went to Asher's school party today. I forgot to take her picture with her Valentines because it was so hectic when I came back from the party. I will have to get a makeup picture soon! Asher made a creative handprint valentine for me and Tyler, we also got a coupon book from him. Leila gave us a pretty drawing and a card she made at the tea party. I decided to cover the kid's bedroom doors with hearts that have reasons that I love them. I thought this was a fun change from the traditional card....they liked it too. Can you believe how expensive cards are?!! I wish I could say that this heart themed breakfast was tonight, but our dinner tonight was from a drive thru. Thankfully, Nanny brought us Valentines that included a cookie cake! It made our fast food dinner seem a little sweeter. ;) Asher had a basketball game at 5:30 tonight. He played great! He is turning into quite the basketball player. The twins enjoyed watching the game and walking around with Grandpa and Lala. They received extra attention and love from Leila, Abby, and Payton, while watching the game. The first half of the game, they both sat in my lap....what a lap full of love! My biggest surprise of the day, a huge box, with my name on it, was waiting on me when I came home from Asher's party! Apparently, Asher, Leila, Cal, and Caroline (with the help of Nanny and Nana!) did a little (or quite a lot!) shopping for their mommy. The card was very flattering and ended with the kids telling me how much they love my cooking. Inside the box was a new, full set of pots and pans!!! I felt so very loved and appreciated and humbled. What thoughtful, loving people I have in my life! I am so grateful for this gift. Our current cookware is 15 years old. Yes, I said 15 years! Most of all, I am just so overcome with emotion that my mom and nana are helping my children show love to their momma. I have the best family in the whole wide world! I do not deserve them, but I am so happy to have them. I ended the night with my sweetheart. We took this self portrait doing dishes in the kitchen. It's romantic, I know! Ha! There is no other place I'd rather be. He's been my Valentine since 1996. He is the first man that I ever cooked a meal for and I hope he will be the last man that I prepare meals for. I love him very, very much. Also, I just watched Matthew Crawley propose to Lady Mary while the snow fell in London. I'm a happy, happy girl! Happy Valentine's Day 2013!
