Unexpected, friends, and fishing a couple of weekends ago
Friday night, the kids and I went to eat dinner with some friends. It was a gorgeous night and we went down by the river to let them run and play. Fire ants attacked and cut our play time short. Boo fire ants!
Saturday, Asher had his best friend over and they went to a birthday party. Leila, Cal, Caroline, and I went to the park. Leila is awesome on the monkey bars. She was so kind to help Cal and Caroline conquer them too. Then, we all went down to the Unexpected art event in downtown Ft. Smith. It was so cool!
We had a picnic in the living room and watched a movie…
Uncle Kyle took us fishing on Sunday. It was great fun! Cal was soooo excited to go on his first fishing trip. We only caught one fish but we had a wonderful time. Then, Nanny treated us to Mexican food for dinner. Thanks to both of them for hosting a great Sunday.
I think Cal's favorite part was playing with the "menus". Poor little things.
