Nana Dodd (our neighbor and friend) had us over for egg hunting on easter Sunday. We have done this the last three years and the kids really look forward to hunting eggs with the big kids. The big kids are exceptional kids.....the kind of kids that I hope my kids grow up to be! Asher and Leila are serious egg hunters (there are quarters inside the eggs!). Caroline hunted with Nana Dodd and Rhonda for a little bit. Then, she discovered the water when she walked on the pool cover. She had a blast and was soaking wet when we finally got her off! Cal was content to play with Doodle and the trash can. He did enjoy throwing the plastic eggs on the ground and breaking them open, and putting a few in the trash can! Leila's name was drawn for the grand prize....the gigantic stuffed frog! She was excited and a little shy too! Cal didn't mind to quickly take it off her hands. ;) He loved on that frog for the remainder of our time there. Nana Dodd received some loving too. It was a beautiful day to be outside and enjoy the company of some sweet friends!
